Allies for Justice + Equity CT is a grassroots advocacy organization based in Trumbull, Connecticut. We believe that everyone can make a positive impact in their community, and that anyone can choose to be an ally. The core of our efforts are focused on promoting diversity, equity and belonging for marginalized identities throughout our town.
Mission
Our mission is to strengthen inclusion, belonging and fairness in our community through advocacy, open-dialogue and coalition-building.
Ally is a verb
In 2021, Allies for Justice + Equity CT was founded on the principle of being the change you wish to see in the world. This is why we define Ally as a verb not a noun. As Allies, we take action to advance our goal of creating a more inclusive Trumbull.
What we do
All of the work we do is grounded on the common goal of making Trumbull more inclusive. We organize platforms and resources to amplify ally voices in our community.
Our current initiatives are focused on strengthening equity in education and advocating for social justice in our community.
